In 2005, I was walking with a client after having adjusted her Bassett Hound. K.H. and I were establishing a friendship so there were many things that we did not know about each other. Over time, we came to learn through our sharings that there were things that we did not know about ourselves. During the aforementioned walk, I was jolted back into what I had essentially turned from over the past few decades, my ability to hear animals whether in my presence or remotely.
I had told K. H. that I have the ability to hear animals and she asked if I could speak to ones that had passed on. I told her that I ‘may’ get a read from the dog’s dimension that she existed on currently.
Immediately I get a sense of a ‘large presence’ sitting on a Royal Throne. It was a Great Dane, female, wearing a crown and royal robes, carrying a Staff. She Lorded over her subjects on this dimension that she is on. Her dimension has only dogs on it that have passed on.
I tell K. H. this information and she relates that the dog is, Pepper. I inform K. H. that Pepper said that K. H. did not honor her ‘majesty’ while on this planet and that K. H. had promised her that she would be a huge princess, a royal presence while in K. H.’s care.
I recall K. H. crying as she recounted the memory of having those silent conversations and thoughts with Pepper while she was K.H’s beloved pet dog.
K. H. began feeling guilty about not honoring her commitment to Pepper. She soon realized that she needed to forgive herself and to listen within more often with her animals so that there can be a deep, respectful, conscious relationship between both parties.
Ever since that communication and vision with Pepper, she has been one of the more powerful animal totems that work with me. As I call on Pepper (she actually has me call her Empress Warrior), to come assist me with an animal I am about to work on chiropractically, she holds an energy and space for courage and peace for my patient.
As long as I respect the animals current and passed on, we all work quite well together.
